In 2019, David took bold action to reset his finances by selling his home, cashing out his pension and 401k to pay off debt, and changed his career direction. With some lingering debt and his wife’s support, they loaded a moving truck, towed their car across the country, and rented a townhouse to launch a new career. Just over a year later, they bought a new townhome and a second car. Four years later, they purchased their dream home in the mountains, surrounded by amazing views and wildlife. Shortly after that they began renting out their townhome.​

Financial Literacy Educator

David's passion for teaching began with a two-year mission in Africa, where he taught families about Jesus Christ and helped them live more meaningful lives. During graduate school, he continued developing his passion by teaching university students about organizational behavior and statistics. Sharing his insights and perspectives to enlighten others brings him joy. Having made numerous financial mistakes over decades, David has learned valuable principles for growing wealth. In 2024, he started sharing his money wisdom with others.​

Improving and Reinventing

David has learned to persevere and create new ways of working and living to grow wealth from the school of hard knocks. Currently, he spends most days improving processes and systems for managing digital assets. He also shares his experience to encourage and inform others about their options to improve their quality of life and grow wealth. David is passionate about partnering with others to inform and present choices around their total wealth. He enjoys helping them target specific actions to grow their wealth in ways aligned with their goals.​
